Sean McCaffrey
General Manager.

Mr. McCaffrey is an experienced athletic trainer with substantial management expertise. A former NCAA Division I athletic trainer, Sean has been a personal trainer for both fitness centers and private clients and until recently worked as a general manager with New York Sports Clubs.

 
 
 
 

Arthur Zanelli
Lead Trainer

Arthur comes to VERT with an extensive history in the health and fitness industry spanning a total of 13 years.

His has been instrumental in the development of corporate wellness programs for a fortune 500 company where he conducted fitness testing, health assessments and created and prescribed specific individual fitness programs for their employees.

More recently, Mr. Zanelli has been an exercise physiologist for a preventive medicine center in Manhattan.  At the center he worked with a very diverse population which included healthy adults, cardiac rehabilitation candidates and high risk candidates for CAD and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Mr. Zanelli graduated fromHunter College with a B.A. in Physical Education/Human Movement Studies. He also earned an M.A. in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University.

 
 
 
 

Christopher Russell

Chris, a graduate of Long Island University, is the co-founder and team trainer for a company that designs and implements fitness routines for universities and school athletic teams and performance athletes.

In addition to working with athletes, Chris has also worked with many large fitness centers where he quickly rose to the Master Trainer level as a personal trainer.  He has been integral in the design of programs for a wide variety of gym members and has provided periodic assessments to track their success.

 
 
 
 

Brian Corbo

Brian, a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, is currently the pitching and strength coach for the Adelphi University Baseball team.

He has an extensive background in training different populations. Recently, Brian focused his skills on the youth demographic when he conducted specific and comprehensive fitness programs for people between the ages 6-14.  He has also designed fitness protocols for the general public as a personal trainer

Brian is a former professional baseball player and has an impressive college pitching record. He was a four-time All Conference performer and a two-time All-South Region selection

 
 
 
 

Stephanie Balabanick

Stephanie comes to us with a life long love of fitness. As a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer she has worked not only for major fitness companies but also designed and implemented programs for home based clients.

Stephanie’s unique set of skills make her stand out as she has developed fitness regimens in Yoga, Pilates, bootcamps and kickboxing.

 
 
 
 

Phil Wolf

Phil is currently the Strength & Conditioning coach for the Hofstra Hockey team. He brings with him a strong background of biomechanics and sports training. He has been developing performance outlines for his athletes to follow and then assesses and analyzes each one individually to track progress and success

Phil has also been using his education and skills to help design fitness programs for private clients of all ages and populations
